Conceived to shatter taboos surrounding menstruation while creating sustainable livelihoods, this 100% women-operated initiative touched thousands of lives before the cruel hands of the pandemic forced its temporary closure.

Why SNEHOMOYEE Mattered

For generations, women in rural Bengal had suffered in silence - using unsafe materials during their periods, missing school and work, and battling shame. SNEHOMOYEE emerged as:
